Even though he is nearing the end of his career, Virat Kohli is still showing his dominance with the bat. New achievements are being added to his name regularly. He set another world record in the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the ongoing Indian Premier League on Friday.

Although Kohli did not see a big innings personally in this match. He had to be out for 15 runs in just 11 balls. However, he touched a new milestone by putting on a 60-run partnership with Venkatesh Iyer in the opening.
With this partnership, Kohli has participated in 211 partnerships of 50 or more runs in T20 cricket, which is the highest in men’s T20 cricket. Previously, this record was held by Alex Hales, whose number of 50+ run partnerships was 210. The next in the list are David Warner, Babar Azam and Chris Gayle.
Despite setting a record, the day was not a happy one for the team. Batting first, Sunrisers Hyderabad posted a huge total of 255 runs for the loss of 4 wickets. Chasing the target, Bangalore’s innings was stopped for 200 runs.
