Cricket Ireland has cancelled Bangladesh’s tour of Ireland in July-August due to financial and logistical constraints.

Although the Irish board has not officially informed the BCB yet. However, an official said that there was already an “if” regarding the series. Bangladesh will play three ODIs and three T20Is against Australia at home in June this year.
Liton Das-Mehedi Hasan Miraj were supposed to tour Ireland after that series. Ireland released its schedule for next summer yesterday. Although they were supposed to play Bangladesh as per the schedule, the Bangladesh series is not on the list.
It is known that Ireland has cancelled the series due to logistical and financial constraints. In such a situation, there will be no series for Bangladesh cricketers in July-August. As a result, they will have to wait for about a month and a half for the series against India.
Despite the cancellation of the Bangladesh series, the Irish will play against India, Afghanistan and New Zealand. They will play a four-day Test against New Zealand in May. Ireland will tour India for a two-match T20 series in June. The Irish have increased the number of matches against Afghanistan after the cancellation of the series against Bangladesh.
