The PCB announced the World Cup squad in a formal press conference in less than 24 hours.
Captain Salman, Fahim Ashraf, Khawaja Nafi, Salman Mirza, Sahibzada Farhan and Usman Tariq, who were in the announced squad, were called up to the World Cup squad for the first time.
