Rajshahi reached the final of the Bangladesh Premier League. Rajshahi defeated Sylhet Titans on Wednesday to reach the final. Rajshahi will face Chittagong in the BPL final in Mirpur on Friday.

Today, Rajshahi Warriors lost the toss and elected to bat first at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur and scored 165 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Kane Williamson scored the highest score of 45 not out for the team.
Chasing the target, Sylhet could not score more than 153 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs.
Sylhet needed 40 runs in the last 7 overs to win. They had 6 wickets in hand. Sam Billings and Afif Hossain were at the wicket. Even then, they lost by 12 runs.
Binura Fernando bowled brilliantly. He took 4 wickets for 19 runs in 4 overs. Pakistan’s Shahibzada Farhan set a record with a catch. No one has ever taken 5 catches in a single match in the BPL before.
