Ticket bookings for Thalapathy Vijay’s upcoming political action film Jananayagan have begun. According to industry tracker Sacklink, the film has received an incredible response at the ticket counters even though it is still a week away from release and there is no official trailer.

According to initial reports, the film has already crossed the Rs 15 crore mark from advance sales worldwide on its opening day, including the premiere show.
There is huge interest in the film in the overseas market. ‘Janayagan’ has earned Rs 11-12 crore from advance bookings alone abroad. A large amount of revenue has come from North America, the UK and Australia, where Vijay has a strong fan base.
However, in India, the film has collected only Rs 3 crore from advance sales so far. However, it is important to remember that ticket bookings are currently going on only in Karnataka and Kerala. Trade tracker said that sales will see a big jump once bookings start in Tamil Nadu and other important regions of India. Because, these regions usually play a big role in Vijay’s first day earnings.
‘Jannayagon’ has been in the news recently for various reasons. The biggest reason is that it is Vijay’s last film before joining politics.
